BioI dropped out of high school a year early to go to college (2005), and then finished college a semester early (December 2008), which left me with a B.A. in psychology and linguistics, a slight sensation of dizziness, and very little clue about what happens next.
I'm a proud student of the Alpha SF/F/H Workshop for Young Writers (2004-2006) and of the Clarion Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers' Workshop (2008.) My short story "Clockwork Angels" won an Honorable Mention in the 2008 Dell Awards for Undergraduate Excellence in Science Fiction and Fantasy Writing, and "The Best and Bitt'rest Kiss" placed as first runner-up in the 2009 Dell Awards. I've sold one piece of flash fiction, which can be read here.
Paradoxically, I don't talk about current writing projects very much these days. Mostly I link to cool stuff and talk about my day job, which involves working with developmentally disabled adults.
What else? I'm your average Northeastern socially liberal/bi/poly/apatheistic-but-culturally-Jewish 20somethings female. I haven't bought any new clothes in five years. I have overlapping fifth toes, so I might be a werewolf or a good-luck charm. I can write your name in Arabic.
